The MCP’s are used where diesel generating sets are to be operated manually. They are normally provided with a start key & ESU (Engine Safety Unit). The start key is used to start the DG & the ESU monitors all the alarms from the DG. In case of any alarm is detected by the ESU, the DG is stopped automatically. In normal conditions, to stop the DG, start key is brought to OFF condition. The MCP’s are provided with measuring meters for V,A & F. Also suitable ON/Off switch is provided to connect/disconnect the loads from the DG
